In 2019, global travel activities and services booking company Klook conducted a survey of the travel habits of more than 20,000 people worldwide. The results were surprising. More than 75% of respondents had either traveled alone or were considering it. Traveling solo was the #1 trend of 2019. And in the previous three years, searches for keywords related to solo travel increased by 131%.
With that much interest in solo travel, we here at OnTheGoSolo.com thought we’d share an article we came across written by the staff at Camperguide.org. Although the blog appears on a website primarily devoted to camper travel, the wide range of topics it covers and the quality of the advice it offers makes it well worth the read.
Separate sections go into detail on the following general subjects:
- Why you should travel solo
- How you should travel solo
- Mistakes to avoid traveling solo
